ALCO S.A.S., a company domiciled in Sabaneta (Antioquia), identified with NIT 811029147-2, located at Carrera 48 A No. 57 SUR 30, is a company committed to and responsible for the privacy and security of the Personal Data of its USERS AND CLIENTS, under the terms of Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013; accordingly, the following ‘PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY’ has been adopted, through which USERS AND CLIENTS may learn about the procedures for the collection, storage, and processing of Personal Data entered into our databases, as well as their rights, guarantees, and the procedures to exercise them:
Personal data: Any information linked to or that can be associated with one or more identified or identifiable natural persons. • Database: A set of personal data systematically organized for subsequent processing.
- Authorization: Express, prior, and informed consent of the personal data holder to carry out processing.
- Processing: Operations or activities that can be performed with personal data, including: collection, use, copying, transfer, transmission, or deletion.
- Sensitive data: Sensitive data is understood as data that affects the privacy of the Data Holder or whose misuse may lead to discrimination, such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political orientation, religious or philosophical convictions, membership in trade unions, social organizations, human rights organizations, or organizations promoting the interests of any political party or guaranteeing the rights and guarantees of opposition political parties, as well as data related to health, sexual life, and biometric data.
The information provided by the data holder will be included in our database and will be used for: The negotiation process for our products and services. Development of commercial activity between the parties. Administrative and operational purposes within the company. Sending communications related to our products and services. Informing entities that require it, for compliance with state obligations (DIAN, legal proceedings, etc.)

The personal data obtained and stored by INDUSTRIAS DE ALUMINIO ARQUITECTONICO Y VENTANERIA S.A.S. ALCO S.A.S. is voluntarily and directly provided by its holders.
Personal data holders must authorize the controller for data processing by completing the AUTHORIZATION FORM. Additionally, authorization may be recorded in credit applications, onboarding forms designed by the company, and other direct means that the data holder may use.
Processing personal data in accordance with the authorization granted by the data holders and in compliance with the purposes and objectives established in Law 1581 of 2012 and Regulatory Decree 1377 of 2013. Implementing personal data security measures, following the instructions issued by the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio on the matter.
Under the terms of Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, the rights of Personal Data holders and, in their absolute absence, their successors, are as follows:
- Right to consult their personal data free of charge and to know whether their data is being processed by the responsible entity.
- Right to request at any time the updating, rectification, and deletion of their personal data.
- Right to revoke at any time the authorization granted to the controller for the processing of their personal data.
- Right to request at any time proof of the authorization granted to the controller for the processing of their personal data.
- Right to file complaints before the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio for violations of the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 and other rules that modify, supplement, or complement it.
Personal data holders may at any time submit inquiries, suggestions, claims, or complaints to the personal data processing controller. To carry out such procedures, the interested party should go to the offices of INDUSTRIAS DE ALUMINIO ARQUITECTONICO Y VENTANERIA S.A. ALCO S.A. located at Carrera 48 A No. 57 SUR 30, Municipality of Sabaneta (Antioquia), or send an email to alco@alco.com.co, or through a written request; the request will be addressed within eight business days following the filing date. The request must contain, at least, the following information: Identification of the data holder, complaint, description of the facts giving rise to the inquiry, suggestion, claim, or terms of the request, and address for notification.
To provide personal and/or sensitive data truthfully, accurately, completely, and in a timely manner. To exercise the rights conferred by law properly, without any abuse. To update the personal data provided.
